The purpose of this preliminary is to have an idea of the expectation of the final production and it allows you to compare the two products. It also shows improvements from preliminary to final product and the initial idea of skills of the technology used, eg. photoshop and camera skills.
Evaluation:
I have learnt how to create my own yolasite and to upload pictures and texts to publish to the web. I think my preliminary has come out better than I expected it to and I especially like my contents page as I have put alot of effort into it. I like the colours I have used in both my front cover and contents page as it is mainly blue and white. This matches the school colours which allows the audience to know that it is part of Goffs magazine.
However, I could improve on reducing the texts on my contents page as it looks too busy and possibly making the font size more bigger to make it easier to read and use a different font colour to make the texts stand out more. Another thing I can improve on is to take more pictures to have a wider range of photos to choose from.
