I started making live polls on polleverywhere.com, asking people from ages 15-17 to answer my questions by voting for their preferable answers. I used twitter through media convergence to ask my twitter followers to help answer my poll for me as well as my class mates which is why I had alot of feedback.I have print-screened each poll with the results shown below.

This poll shows that majority of my target audience would likely to pay between the amount of £1-£3 for a monthly music magazine. This would be the price for a medium priced magazine which would effect the content of the magazine. I have decided to make the price of my magazine a fair and reasonable price of £2. This will allow my target audience to afford the magazine and feel that it is worth the price.

I have chosen six different colour schemes for my magazine and asked my target audience to vote for which one they would prefer on a pop-alternative magazine. My results shows that blue, white, red and purple, black, white are the two most voted colour schemes. This gives me an option to choose from and I could ask my target audience what one they prefer out of the two colour schemes.

This graph shows nine different well-known pop/alternative artists/bands. The results are pretty close, with singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran with the most votes by my target audience. This would help me with my main magazine story or exclusives as I know who my target audience is most interested in.

This graph shows my results for my magazine masthead ideas. I had thought of six different masthead ideas that would relate to my pop-alternative magazine genre and asked my target audience to vote for their favourite one. This allows me know what masthead most appeals to my target audience which would be 'Fusion', with a total of four votes.
