Here are some of the possible story ideas for my magazine double page spread. I will include some of these stories on my front cover and contents page.
- Interview with well established pop/alternative artist/group.
This will target my young audience as they would be more willing to buy the magazine if they know that there is an exclusive interview with a well established artist/group who could potentially be their favourite artist/group.
- Exclusive article on a new artist.
An exclusive article on a new artist will inspire my target audience how this artist is making their way to the top of the music industry.
- Song/Album review.
A review of a song or album will keep my audience up to date with today's music as well as promoting the song/album. This will also help the artist to gain more audience, however, this could be boring for a double page spread considering my target audience are teenagers.
- A day in the life of an artist/group.
A day in the life of an artist/group may come across as quite interesting and appealing to my target audience. This is because teenagers who support or look up to their favourite artist/group would want to know what goes on behind the scenes of a celebrity life on a daily basis.
- Best solo artist of the year.
A double page spread on the best solo artist of the year could draw my readers attention as they may be interested in who out of all artists have made it to the top this year. However, this may not appeal to all my target audience.
- Youngest artist ever to hit the charts.
This could potentially appeal to my target audience as they may be interested in seeing who this young artist is to hit the charts at such a young age.
- Teenage Brit awards.
