For my magazine, I have auditioned eight people to see who Is best suited for my magazine genre. I have chosen eight teenagers for my potential model because it gives me more options to choose from. All of these models are suitable for my magazine as they are into pop and/or alternative music and have an interest in beauty and fashion which is stereotypical for teenage girls in todays generation. These models are all aged between 15-18 years old which fits in with my target audience.

These are examples of my possible location for my front cover, contents page and double page spread. I have chosen images of a white and black backdrop because it is plain and simple so my target audience can just concentrate on the main conventions of the magazine and not get distracted from the background. A green screen can be helpful If I wanted to use a different colour background e.g. pink, blue, grey etc. However this would depend on my magazine colour scheme. I could also use the green screen If I wanted to add effects to the background. I have chosen an image of layers of wood as it gives the background more texture and pattern, making it more interesting and eye-catching to the reader. The green forest or trees would make the magazine look more natural and allows the reader to feel more relaxed. I have also chosen a picture of a small bridge which would make the magazine look more unique and different. It would also make the viewer feel more relaxed and calm and It brings a feminine feel to the magazine.
